HUD homes are available for sale through an online bidding process. New HUD listings are available on a daily basis, and for the first 30 days of the initial bidding period HUD homes are available only to owner-occupant bidders.
After the first 30 days, bids by the general public will be accepted. . After the initial 15 day bidding period, HUD reviews owner occupant bids on a daily basis and will accept the bid that offers the highest net to HUD. After 30 days HUD will review offers from investor purchasers.
